Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is a versatile and privacy-focused browser that offers a high degree of customization and robust performance. Known for its strong security features and extensive add-ons, Firefox provides a user-friendly experience with enhanced privacy controls. This guide will help you install Firefox, configure its proxy settings, and utilize its features effectively. Whether you're looking to improve security, manage multiple accounts, or optimize your browsing experience, Firefox delivers a comprehensive solution.

Setting up proxies using Firefox Browser

  1. Download and install Firefox from the official website onto your device.

After installing Firefox, click the three bars at the top right corner of the browser, then select "Settings."

  2. After clicking on "Settings," scroll down to the bottom of the page to the "Network" section, and then click on "Settings."

  3. Go to your Dashboard panel and navigate to the "My Proxy" section to view your IP information.

Click on the "Show Password" button and enter your account password to display your proxy password.

  4. The Connection Settings window will prompt. Select "Manual proxy configuration" then enter your proxy "Host" and port. Finally, check "Use this proxy server for HTTPS."

If you need to use SOCKS5, you have to use port 9093.

  5. You will be prompted to enter your username and password for authentication.

  6. That's it—you have successfully set up your proxy.
